KKR is seeking an Analyst to support its Reinsurance Operations group across both the Reinsurance Services and Trust Liquidity teams. This role provides a strong foundation for a career in reinsurance operations, client services, or liquidity management at a leading buy‑side firm. The role is based in Boston and will report to the head of the Reinsurance Operations group. The Analyst will assist with data management, reporting, trust extraction workflows, cedent servicing activities, and cross‑functional coordination with accounting, actuarial, treasury, technology, and compliance teams.
This is a hands‑on position suited for a highly organized, detail‑oriented individual who is eager to learn and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to financial operations, accounting, liquidity management or insurance via coursework, internships or full‑time roles.
- Assist in managing inbound requests from internal teams and external partners; help organize and track follow‑ups to ensure timely responses.
- Support maintenance and accuracy of counter party and reinsurance client data, coordinating with teams such as Actuarial, Reinsurance Accounting, and Enterprise Data/Technology.
- Help identify process inconsistencies or inefficiencies and participate in efforts to streamline and systematize workflows.
- Assist with preparing client‑related materials, documentation, and internal reporting.
- Support sourcing, organizing, and validating data inputs needed for monthly trust extraction projections, including information from Reinsurance/Investment Accounting, Treasury, and Asset Allocation.
- Help coordinate feedback from internal stakeholders regarding ALM, liquidity considerations, and client‑specific requirements.
- Assist in tracking extraction approvals and preparing instructions for trust withdrawals in partnership with Treasury and Compliance teams.
- Contribute to analyses and reporting for senior leadership on trust extraction activity, trends, and variances.
- Work with Project Management and Technology partners on enhancements to trust dashboards and automation projects.
- Build foundational understanding of reinsurance comfort trust structures and related operational processes.
- Participate in ad‑hoc projects supporting both the Reinsurance Services and Trust Liquidity teams.
- Assist in documenting processes, updating SOPs, and contributing to operational risk reduction efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Math, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in financial services, insurance, operations, or a related analytical function (internships included).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic, high‑expectation environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with multiple teams.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Exposure to financial operations, accounting, liquidity management, or insurance.
- Interest in reinsurance, trust structures, and institutional client operations.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Working experience in SQL & other programming languages not required but valued.
Base salary range: $70,000–$80,000 USD. Compensation may also include annual cash bonuses, long‑term incentives (equity), and a generous benefits package.

Work schedule:
5 days per week in New York, 4 days per week in all other offices.
