A compelling opportunity for an accounting and finance professional interested in moving closer to the investment side of the business within a highly regarded global alternative investment firm.
The Finance Manager will join a sophisticated real estate investment platform and gain broad exposure across fund and direct investment financial reporting, valuations, transactions and the ongoing financial management of a diverse portfolio. The position offers an attractive opportunity to apply a strong accounting foundation in a principal investment environment while developing deeper understanding of real estate investments and their underlying economics.
Work closely with investment, asset management, tax, legal and finance professionals on complex real estate investments, including financial reporting and analysis, fair value and valuation matters, transaction activity, joint ventures and audit processes. The role also provides opportunities to improve processes and reporting through technology, automation and emerging tools, while coaching and developing junior team members.
Particularly attractive for a professional coming from public accounting or an investment management environment who wants broader exposure, greater ownership and the opportunity to build a career within a sophisticated institutional investment platform.
Candidate profile includes:
Approximately 5–9 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Strong technical accounting foundation, including U.S. GAAP financial reporting.
Experience with real estate, investment management, private equity, alternative investments or other complex investment structures is highly relevant.
Public accounting experience, particularly with a leading national or global accounting firm, is valued.

Strong analytical, communication and relationship-management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
CPA or Chartered Accountant.
