Global asset management firm is hiring a VP Finance
- Management Company. Ideal candidates will have 15+ years management company accounting experience out of the financial services industry.

This leadership role will be responsible for fostering an environment of continuous improvement and growth. Beyond people-management and strategic leadership, this role will be responsible for overseeing Accounting / Financial Reporting, Finance Ops, and Process Improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, grow, and lead teams responsible for accounting, financial reporting, finance ops (accounts payable, receivables, expense reporting.
  • Business Partner with functional leaders across Legal, Tax, Audit, Compliance, as well as the Investment teams / their respective accounting groups.
  • Lead efforts in operational reporting, analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive initiatives to enhance systems and transform reporting processes.
  • Work with compliance, audit, tax, and business teams to support operational functions.
  • Oversee cash flow, balance sheet reporting, and expense allocations.
  • Ensure corporate finance policies and controls are implemented and maintained.
  • Support external audits, tax filings, and covenant compliance.
  • Provide financial analysis for business units and departments.
  • Manage ad hoc projects and promote best practices across teams.

Qualifications:

  • CPA
  • 15+ years of experience
  • Experience in public accounting (Big 4 / large regional firms)
  • Corporate accounting or management company accounting experience out of financial services
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to drive process improvements and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
