Title: Chief Financial Officer – Private Family Office
Salary: $200,000–$300,000 DOE
Location: Jamaica Plain, MA (4 days onsite)

• Join a sophisticated private family office in a key financial leadership capacity
• Serve as a close advisor to family ownership on accounting, tax, and financial matters
• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of entities, investments, and financial interests
• Highly visible position offering direct access to family principals and significant decision-making autonomy
• Unique blend of technical accounting, complex tax matters, financial planning, and investment oversight
• Partner with an experienced Controller and external accounting and tax professionals

• Direct the overall finance and accounting function for the family office and related entities
• Lead tax planning and strategy across complex individual and entity structures
• Coordinate with outside CPA firms and tax advisors on compliance, filings, and planning initiatives
• Oversee financial reporting, cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity management
• Provide financial oversight across investments, holdings, and affiliated entities
• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to family principals on recurring and strategic matters

• Prior family office experience required
• Active CPA designation required
• Strong public accounting foundation
• High-level tax expertise across complex individual and multi-entity structures
• Advanced technical accounting and financial reporting experience
• Polished, discreet executive presence with the ability to work directly with family principals
