The Senior Rebate Analyst is responsible for the administration, financial analysis, and governance of rebates, fees, and discounts related to EMD Serono’s contracted Market Access accounts. This role ensures timely and accurate rebate processing while driving financial insight, revenue integrity, and process optimization across the revenue management  addition to preparing and validating complex payment packages, the Senior Rebate Analyst provides critical analysis of contract performance, financial trends, and revenue impacts.

This role proactively identifies discrepancies, risks, and forecast variances, partnering with Finance, Brand, Contracting, Pricing & Analytics, and Insights to drive resolution and long-term stability. The Senior Rebate Analyst leads contract configuration and maintenance within the Model N Revenue Management System, influences process improvements, and develops internal reporting tools to inform decision-making at all levels. Outputs from this role are regularly reviewed by senior leadership and directly impact financial reporting and revenue recognition.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Maintain expert-level knowledge of Model N Revenue Management System to process, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize rebate payment packages.

Lead preparation and validation of rebate payment documentation, including original data submissions, validation, recalculations, and contract interpretation for approval and disbursement.

Analyze quarter-over-quarter trends, forecast variances, and customer performance against contractual benchmarks; provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Identify revenue risks, data inconsistencies, and process gaps, drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Lead contract set-up, configuration, and maintenance in Model N to ensure accurate financial execution and compliance with contractual terms.

Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to provide transparency into rebate liabilities, performance trends, and financial exposure.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned accounts, managing complex contractual structures and unique reimbursement dynamics.

Influence cross-functional stakeholders through fact-based recommendations and financial insight.

Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability within rebate operations.

Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and knowledge transfer.
