Head of Investor Relations

We are seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead and scale the firm's investor relations and fundraising function as it grows its institutional investor base and prepares for future fund vehicles. This is a senior, high-visibility role that will serve as a primary point of contact for Limited Partners and will work closely with firm leadership and the investment team to shape capital-raising strategy and investor communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of investor relations, including LP communications, reporting, and relationship management across existing and prospective institutional investors (endowments, foundations, insurance companies, pension funds, and family offices).

  • Own and drive fundraising strategy and execution for current and future fund vehicles, including coordination with placement agents, fund counsel, and internal deal teams.

  • Develop and maintain fundraising materials, including private placement memoranda, pitch decks, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and data room content.

  • Manage the LP due diligence process end-to-end, coordinating responses across investment, finance, legal, and compliance teams.

  • Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual investor reports, capital account statements, and portfolio performance updates in partnership with finance and portfolio teams.

  • Build and maintain a CRM-based system for tracking LP relationships, fundraising pipeline, and investor communications.

  • Represent the firm at investor conferences, annual meetings, and one-on-one LP meetings.

  • Monitor institutional investor trends, competitive fund positioning, and market conditions to inform fundraising strategy.

  • Partner with finance and compliance leadership on regulatory matters related to fundraising and investor communications.

  • Mentor and, over time, build out a small investor relations team as the firm scales.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or a related role within private equity, infrastructure, energy, or alternative investment firms; placement agent or LP-side experience also considered.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully supporting or leading institutional capital raises, ideally for fund vehicles exceeding $500M.

  • Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, LPA terms, and institutional investor due diligence processes.

  • Existing relationships with institutional LPs, including endowments, foundations, insurance companies, pensions, and family offices, strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing sophisticated investor-facing materials.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
