Finance Manager

A Finance Manager who can defend a number to an auditor and sell it to a board is rare;
Innovate Tech Lab is hiring exactly that. At Innovate Tech Lab the $152,000 - $223,000 matters, sure, but so does owning the finance outcome with 7 years of Tableau behind it.

• Reconcile merchant fees against statements that never quite match
• Develop cash flow models and monitor liquidity for the Boston, MA team
• Chase down unreconciled items until the subledger ties to the GL
• Manage banking relationships and optimize treasury operations
• Reconcile the loan amortization schedule against every lender statement
• Lead the Innovate Tech Lab audit preparation and serve as primary contact for external auditors
• Coordinate with the tax team on filings, estimates, and year-end provisions

• Demonstrated comfort presenting to manager leadership
• Judgment seasoned by at least 6 years of real consequences
• The integrity to flag your own mistakes first
• The kind of listening that makes the other person feel heard
• Roughly 8+ years operating in a similar Finance Manager position
• The kind of empathy that makes hard feedback land softly
• Manager mastery of Financial Modeling, validated by people who'd hire you again
