Beauty Sales Consultant, Licensed – Join the CVS Health beauty retail division. This role blends sales and customer service to deliver a top‑notch beauty experience for customers in 8,000+ stores.

We are seeking a sales‑oriented, licensed Beauty Sales Consultant passionate about the beauty industry who can provide end‑to‑end customer experience in Beauty & Personal Care, offer paid beauty services, and give personalized product advice.

• Seek out customers to ensure a world‑class beauty advisor experience.
• Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, productive upselling, and suggestive selling.
• Maneuver conversations to stimulate new thought processes using strong verbal skills to generate sales.
• Act as a brand expert by answering detailed product questions to produce the largest sales basket possible.
• Engage all customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, and in‑store events, and explain current promotions to close the sale of products and services.

• Represent CVS and partner brands during customer interactions while upholding the highest service standards.
• Licensed consultants must provide ear‑piercing services and all other applicable services offered at the store.
• Pass proficiency assessments before performing in‑store services.
• Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage and highlighting product features and benefits to drive purchase conversion.
• Manage time effectively between scheduled services, walk‑in consultations, and other client work.
• Display current and active Cosmetology/Esthetician license during all working hours at all mandated locations.

• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials in support of key brand and advertising efforts.
• Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and events.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and merchandised zone that meets hygiene standards for a positive shopping and service experience.
• Execute all CVS sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies in a timely and compliant manner.
• Complete ongoing sales, brand, and paid service training in a timely manner to keep knowledge current.
• Maintain a professional colleague appearance in accordance with company policies and guidelines at all times.
• Be a customer’s beauty expert by staying up‑to‑date with the latest beauty trends and techniques.

• Current and valid Cosmetology/Esthetician license in the state of employment.
• Maintain an active license at all times and display it during working hours.
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to perform ear‑piercing services in all stores.
• Pass all required skills assessments and training courses to fully execute paid service options.
• Use sales data and product knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Goal‑driven with multitasking ability.
• Work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new procedures.
• Available to work at a CVS store and travel to sales programs and events as needed.
• Available for a flexible retail schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, “Peak” hours).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior beauty sales experience with a strong passion for beauty.

• Stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, and perform services and consulting.
• Stoop, kneel, or crouch and reach or grasp objects on lower shelves.
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity (hair styling, makeup application, ear piercing).
• Support the required qualifications physically.

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.

$17.00 – $26.00 per hour
