MRI Tech – 16 hours/week, Enhanced Pay Rates

Position: MRI Technologist

Department: MRI

Schedule: Part‑time, 16 hours per week with flexible days, evenings and weekends.

Location: Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA.

• Operate state‑of‑the‑art MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with the MRI/CT Supervisor and multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Plan and manage workload, set priorities, and respond quickly to emergency requests.
• Educate patients and assist students or new technologists.

• Graduated from an ARRT‑approved MRI education program and ARRT‑registered.
• Valid BLS certification.
• MRI Advanced Certification required or obtained within one year.
• Preferred experience in MRI and MRI classroom coursework.
• Strong knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy, medical terminology, RIS/HIS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a fast‑moving healthcare team.

Base salary range: $48.90 – $62.03 per hour. Salary determined by education, experience, and certification. Includes medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits; 403(b); paid time off; and additional rewards.
