Job Summary

Summary:

Responsible for providing support services and assistance in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness by ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for the guests, patients, or occupants.

Essential Functions:

* Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.

* Handling and maintaining linen supplies, including changing bed linens, replenishing towels and toiletries, and collecting and sorting soiled linens for laundry services.

* Properly disposing of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials according to established procedures and regulations.

* Monitoring and restocking supplies and amenities such as toiletries, towels, cleaning products, and other necessary items.

* Maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities, including daily cleaning logs, room occupancy status, maintenance requests, and other relevant documentation.

* Following established safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

40-hour day shift

Experience

Customer Service Experience 1-2 years preferred, or Housekeeping Experience 0-1 year preferred

Skills and Abilities

* Familiarity with different cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.

* Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of the assigned areas.

* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

* Customer service skills to ensure guest/patient satisfaction.

* Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.

* Trustworthiness and a strong work ethic to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
