- Perform in vitro functional studies of ncRNA biomarker candidates in neuronal and glial cells differentiated from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hIPSC).
- Maintain iPSC cell cultures and apply differentiation protocols to generate iPSC‑derived neurons, astrocytes, and microglia.
- Carry out functional tests on differentiated cells.
- Immunofluorescence labeling of cells and neuropil structures in sections of human postmortem cortices.
- Perform laser‑capture microdissection (LCM) of cortical structures, extract RNA, and execute quantitative PCR (qPCR).
- Collate data, maintain databases, and manage research protocols.
- Conduct guided analyses to address specific hypotheses.
- Synthesize previous research studies to formulate hypotheses and write manuscripts for publication.
- Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with histological procedures and microscopy is desired.
