Position TypeFull-Time/Regular
We are looking for a highly motivated person to assist us with research being conducted to understand the toxicity of PFAS (The Forever Chemicals), as well as other pollutants, and to design effective interventions. Our research spans immunotoxicology, liver toxicology and cardiovascular toxicology. Central to this position is working with mouse models. This position involves maintenance of mouse colonies, husbandry of experimental mice, dissection of mice and molecular and biochemical analyses of samples derived from experimental mice.
The candidate will be expected to help manage daily tasks for the lab.

- biochemical/hematological analyses
- protein-based analyses
- histological and immunohistochemical analyses
The candidate will be expected to assist in the general laboratory tasks, maintaining lab equipment, maintaining supplies, maintaining safety and assisting in organizing data. The candidate must be able to organize and carry out their laboratory techniques independently and collaboratively. They will be expected to present at research laboratory meetings and to contribute to the writing of manuscripts.
Required SkillsBachelor's degree with less than 12 months of experience.
