The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children’s Center) promotes the best possible mental health for children and families through research, intervention, training, and policy. The Staff Psychologist reports to the Senior Director of Outpatient Clinical Services and provides high‑quality behavioral health treatment to a culturally diverse population of children and young adults ages 2‑22 using evidence‑based practices (EBP).
The role includes onsite and virtual EBP training, support toward certification, and adherence to CET clinical and operational policies.
Location: Hybrid – Waltham or Boston
Position Type: Full‑time

Responsibilities- Provides direct clinical outpatient services to families seeking psychotherapy using established EBP.
- Provides supervision to trainees using established frameworks for clinical supervision.
- Consults to clients, school districts, staff, and other practitioners on EBP across settings.
- Participates in individual and staff supervision meetings and specialty supervision meetings to facilitate professional development.
- Conducts psychodiagnostic assessments and participates in weekly staff meetings and assessment seminars.
- Collaborates with CET leadership on administrative and outreach activities to increase capacity and reach.
- Conducts educational presentations to outside practitioners, schools, and parent groups.
- Collaborates with external providers to support client care.
- Documents all clinical activities according to professional standards.
- Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in psychology and Massachusetts Psychologist/Health Service Provider licensure. - Completion of an APA‑accredited internship.
- Experience or familiarity with EBP (e.g., CBT, MATCH, TF‑CBT, PCIT, ERP, SPACE Treatment).
- 1‑2 years of post‑licensure clinical experience preferred.
- Experience developing and running therapeutic and/or education programs for children preferred.
- Experience educating and coaching caregivers in 1:1 or group settings preferred.
- Experience working with electronic medical/health records (EMR/EHR).
- CANS certification or eligibility to complete CANS training.
Massachusetts Psychologist/Health Service Provider Licensure in good standing.
Salary$80,000 – $95,000.
