Compounding Pharmacist, Supervisor
Integrated Pharmacy Solutions is hiring a Compounding Pharmacist Supervisor for a Greater Boston Area, Long‑Term‑Care, closed‑door pharmacy that services patients in skilled nursing, assisted living, group home and hospice facilities. Our client provides highly specialized pharmacy services including sterile/non‑sterile compounds and specialized package types.
Essential Job Functions- Monitors compliance with established policy and procedures as well as State and outside regulatory bodies.
- Responsible for staff training and adherence.
- In the case of staff shortages, may function in the capacity of Staff Pharmacist.
- Develop reporting to monitor financial trends in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy.

- Serves as a subject matter expert for pharmacy staff.
- Operates as the designated compounding pharmacist.
- Accountable as the point person for follow‑up and resolution of issues pertaining to sterile and non‑sterile compounding.
- Participates in the design and function of proposed cleanroom modifications and construction.
- Reviews all cleanroom certification reports, responds to deficiencies immediately.
- Oversees pharmacy quality assurance measures, including environmental sampling, media fill, and gloved fingertip sampling.
- Communicates appropriately using good interpersonal skills.
- Serves, manages, and supports internal and external customers.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Participates as a team member and is accountable for own work responsibilities.
- Motivates staff to provide effective clinical care to all patients.
- Complies with all State and Federal rules, regulations and laws which govern the practice of pharmacy.
- Completes routine regulatory compliance training.
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy required.
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in hospital and/or compounding facility.
- Current (or eligible for) licensure as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Completion of a sterile compounding training program from an ASHP or ACPE accredited provider.
- Exceptional aptitude or knowledge may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Long Term Care or Hospital experience (Preferred)
