Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Job Title: Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – Diagnostic Imaging
• Location: Boston, MA 02215
• Healthcare Setting: On-Site, Diagnostic Radiology Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Contract Start Date: December 15, 2025
• Contract End Date: March 14, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (72 guaranteed hours biweekly)
• Parking: Available (may incur additional cost)

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training in Medical Radiography required
• Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (Rad Tech-Radiography) required
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or in a diagnostic imaging role
• Advanced technical computer skills relevant to radiology and imaging systems
• Must not reside within 50 miles of Boston, MA (no local travelers)
• Must not have worked at this healthcare facility in any capacity within the last 6 months

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist pain management physicians with fluoroscopic imaging of the spine and joints
• Operate and maintain c-arms and advanced diagnostic imaging equipment
• Set up and break down kits and medications for pain injection procedures
• Ensure accurate imaging and documentation in compliance with healthcare facility protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient clinical work environment
