Description:

Proficiency working in the operating room is essential.
The level of acuity is high.
Short call required up to 3 times every six weeks.
Up to 4 off shifts every six weeks.
Weekend shift and weekend call required once every six weeks.
Holiday shift and call coverage as needed.
Type of facility is an acute care facility.
Total staffed beds for the facility: 485.
Charting system utilized is Cerner.
Patient demographics include neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary.
Special procedures and unit details require pediatric OR experience.
Patient diagnoses vary within the operating room setting.
