Radiation Med Therapist - Radiation Oncology - (Per Diem)

Reporting to the Chief Radiation Medicine Technologist, the Radiation Med Therapist delivers accurate dosages of radiation using up-to-date equipment and documents the same to fulfill the prescription given by the physician, ensuring quality patient care.

• Entry level

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Radiation Medicine
• Current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

• Three to six months of on‑the‑job training; knowledge of department policies, procedures, and equipment
• Analytical ability to determine proper equipment setup and patient positioning, calculate treatment length, and detect adverse reactions
• Interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and effectively interact with patients

$42.87 – $55.46 per hour. This range estimates based on minimum qualifications; additional factors such as education, experience, licensure, and certifications are considered.
