The spinal cord injury fellow is a one‑year program accredited through the ACGME and filled through the MATCH. The fellow will provide patient care, participate in educational activities, and contribute to the improvement of graduate medical education.

• Provide patient care under appropriate supervision as assigned, ensuring timely documentation and attendance at patient care rounds.
• Use supervisory and support systems effectively, seeking advice and input from attending staff physicians as appropriate.
• Participate in all educational and scholarly activities, including didactic conferences, research projects, examinations, and maintenance of procedure logs.
• Develop a personal program of learning for continued professional growth, guided by teaching staff.
• Teach junior trainees and medical students within the scope of the training program when called upon.
• Submit confidential written evaluations of faculty, the program, and the overall educational experience as requested.
• Adhere to established practices, procedures, and policies of the hospital, medical/professional staff, department, and affiliated training sites.
• Participate in institutional programs, councils, or committees as appropriate.
• Abide by institutional and program‑specific resident work hours policies and accurately report all work hours.
• Comply with institutional requirements for annual health and safety training, vaccinations, and TB testing.
