This position will be split between two hospitals, Mass Eye & Ear (MEE) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) The hours are Sun 8-6:30p MGH Mon 7-5:30p MEE Thur 7-5:30p MEE Sat 8-6:30p MGH At MEE the sonographer will be scanning head & neck exams, following a detailed protocol, and could have the opportunity to be involved with the US Guided Procedures (Biopsies & potentially OR Guidance).
The equipment is Philips Epiq Elite and the sonographer works closely with the radiologists. At MGH the sonographer will be scanning routine general exams, along with transplanted liver, transplanted kidney, DVT exams (Upper & Lower), pediatric experience is a plus. The equipment is GE Loqiq 10s.
