Role Overview: The Surgical Technologist supports the operating room team by preparing the environment, maintaining sterile techniques, and assisting surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment.
- Support perioperative patient care and ensure sterile techniques.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team.
- Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year of graduation or applicable experience.
- Preferred 1-2 years of OR experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
