Clinical Trials Pharmacist - Non-Oncology

Boston, MA

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (start/end times may vary, not to exceed 5:30 PM; no weekends; no major holidays; minor holiday coverage may be required)

• Dispense research medications to subjects enrolled in clinical trials and ensure all medication orders comply with approved protocols
• Review protocol documents and amendments for drug safety and feasibility, and draft corresponding dispense instructions
• Oversee the safe handling and preparation of investigational sterile and non-sterile medications
• Supervise technician activities and perform quality control checks; provide drug information to other healthcare professionals
• Triage and participate in sponsor monitoring visits and audits
• Act as a liaison between the Clinical Trials Pharmacy and compounding areas, review patient medications for appropriateness and drug interactions, and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal pharmacy laws

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License in good standing
• Knowledge of investigational drug use regulations and compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
• Experience reviewing clinical trial protocols and drafting pharmacy dispense instructions
• Ability to oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding and investigational medication preparation

• Prior experience working within a clinical trials pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with sponsor monitoring visits, audits, and GCP guidelines
• Experience serving as a liaison between pharmacy departments and compounding units

• Opportunity to contribute to meaningful clinical research in a non-oncology setting within a collaborative pharmacy team
• Stable weekday schedule with no weekend or major holiday requirements
