Overview

House Attendants serve as the backbone of our operation, maintaining organized and orderly operations throughout the facility. They provide critical support to Housekeeping and impact turnover of rooms and revenue potential. You will support the Room Attendants in the completion of heavy work. Since this job impacts guests' perception of the hotel's cleanliness, it directly affects customer satisfaction. Delivering personalized service, clean accommodations, and the unexpected in service will delight guests and build loyalty.

Schedule

Requirements

The position includes morning and afternoon/evening shifts with regular weekend attendance. Holidays are scheduled as business requires.

Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed cleaning to public areas (both back and front of house).
  • Provide coverage for public space cleaning shifts as needed.
  • Maintain adequate supplies in housekeeping closets, cages, and service areas.
  • Stock rooms linen on all floors in service areas and ensure adequate supply.
  • Support housekeepers, deliver supplies and guest requests as directed by HotSOS.
  • Support housekeepers in cleaning and turnover of guest rooms.
  • Handle emergency cleaning requests.
  • Perform room deep cleaning including drapery, carpet spotting, wallpaper, and vents.
  • Practice, manage, and promote our Mission and Values so they become part of everyday operations.
  • Complete any duties and projects assigned by department managers or supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to remain mobile on feet for the entire shift.
  • Use of iPod Touches or radios throughout the shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions such as pulling, pushing, and bending for extended periods.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in a group setting.
  • High School diploma, GED or international equivalent preferred.
  • Fluency in the English language strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to listen to instructions and read memos, short correspondences, and messages.
