Location:
Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston, a cutting-edge 61-storey skyscraper in Back Bay, with a Wellness Floor and Zuma restaurant. The hotel features 215 guest rooms and suites, private residences, and extensive meeting and event space.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality to join our Spa team as a Spa Manager
. The Spa Manager provides cutting edge advice and makes strategic and operational decisions for the department regarding treatments and philosophies.
- Supervise management and growth of the Spa staff.
- Integrate and encourage growth of spa management personnel across other properties.
- Assist on project-by-project basis and serve as a knowledge reference for staff.
- Interview, train, schedule, monitor performance, discipline, and complete payroll for personnel reporting to the Spa Manager.
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of all member communications generated by the Wellness Department (in-house collateral, promotions, mailings, articles, bulletin boards).
- Monitor operating funds for the Wellness Department and generate purchase requisitions.
- Participate in Member Fitness Committee meetings and other hotel meetings as necessary.
- Education in Spa management or Hospitality or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a related position.
- Experience in a luxury hotel property.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a luxury Spa.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of spa, wellness and holistic modalities.
