Job DetailsCompensation: Towne Park offers competitive, fair compensation. The hourly base pay range for this position is $17 per hour plus tips.
Work Schedule: 8 am – 4:30 pm.
Benefits: Eligible employees may enroll in accidental insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits and the 401(k) retirement plan. Benefits vary by classification and hours. Seasonal/temporary roles are not eligible.
SummaryThe Guest Service Associate (Valet Attendant) provides exceptional hospitality services to guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, and assisting with luggage, delivery, and pick‑up during arrival and departure.
Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients.
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor, using guest last names.
- Use proper phone etiquette and greet guests with the appropriate salutation.
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed.
- Assist guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations and other inquiries, and provide information about the facility.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks, and collect them prior to issuing keys.
- Maintain accurate ticket records, including key tags, guest folio details, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
- Experience: One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer service.
- Ability to read and write standard English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide three‑digit numbers and to perform these operations using units of American money.
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems.
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable.
- Perform parallel parking.
