What

You'll Do

Our Global Businesses & Functions (GBF) People Team has an opportunity for a Senior Director to join our HR Delivery team, focusing on the North America region.

In this role, you will lead the HR delivery and advisory team that supports staff working in global businesses and functions across NAMR – 1500+ BCGers in Global Services, Vantage, PAM&O and BCGU, located across 30+ BCG consulting offices in North America and Costa Rica. This team also manages full service HR Operations for our two global hub offices in Boston:
Global Services (GS Boston) and Advanced Capability Center (ACC Boston).

You will oversee a team of ~10 HR Directors, Managers, and Specialists who provide day‑to‑day HR advisory, employee lifecycle management, and service execution for staff across the region. You will ensure high‑quality, consistent, compliant HR delivery and act as a senior escalation point for employees, people managers, and business leaders. In addition, this role will set strategic priorities for the team and drive change efforts in line with BCG’s overall strategic agenda, adoption of new tech and tools, and evolution for a future‑ready workforce.

You will be a key member of both the NAMR leadership team (e.g., NAMR HR Leaders and North America Business Leadership Team - NABLT) and the GBF People Leadership Team (PLT), representing the needs of your stakeholders and partnering cross‑functionally to provide seamless and scalable HR delivery.

You will also contribute to and lead select global initiatives that innovate and improve tools, processes, and operating model evolution across the broader GBF People organization.

YOU’RE GOOD AT
  • Leading HR advisory and service delivery across a large, dispersed employee population, ensuring consistent and high‑quality experiences across offices and cohorts.
  • Acting as a trusted escalation partner to employees and people managers, using sound judgement to resolve complex HR, employee relations, and situational challenges.
  • Providing expert regional HR insight and guiding critical HR decisions, advising on best practices, policies, processes, and local labor practices across North America.
  • Ensuring compliance and operational excellence, maintaining alignment to global, regional, and local HR policies and regulatory requirements, and shaping efficient, high‑quality operational processes.
  • Collaborating across HR—working closely with NAMR HR, HR Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, Geo Mobility, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and other COEs to ensure consistent application of policies and common practices.
  • Leading and developing a high‑performing team, including setting priorities; driving continuous improvement; and ensuring clarity of roles, high service standards, best‑practice sharing, and alignment across locations.
  • Communicating with clarity and confidence, enabling managers and employees to navigate complex HR processes and understand expectations.
  • Using data to drive insight, monitoring trends, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Contributing to strategic HR efforts and leading change, offering regional expertise and senior leadership to global initiatives…
