Position: HR Manager
Contract: 3+ months
Pay: $40-48/hr
Job DescriptionThis interim HR Manager will support both corporate and retail HR functions across talent acquisition, HR operations, HRIS work, auditing, and general employee support. This person will partner closely with a small Boston-based HR team to streamline processes, manage audits, and provide high-visibility support across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage job postings, sourcing, candidate communication, and interview scheduling
- Draft offer letters and oversee background checks for both corporate and retail roles
- Support and improve performance review processes within Dayforce
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding for all employee groups
- Update HR policies and employee handbook as needed
- Support HR auditing initiatives and help build an auditing process for next year (workflows, data entry, documentation)
- Maintain and update employee data within Dayforce HRIS (data entry, auditing, workflows, reporting)
- Develop and run reports within Dayforce
- Support payroll and benefits administration as needed
- Partner with leaders on policies, procedures, and reporting needs
- Provide retail HR support around talent acquisition and compliance
- Assist with employee events and brand engagement initiatives
- Pivot between HR operations, TA, payroll backup, and benefits depending on business need
- Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal support, wearing multiple hats and collaborating frequently with the executive team
- 3–5+ years of HR Generalist/Manager-level experience
- Strong TA experience (posting, sourcing, scheduling, candidate coordination)
- Dayforce experience strongly preferred
- Experience with ATS platforms (Workable ideal)
- Strong auditing, workflow, and data management skills
- Comfortable operating in gray areas and shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and executive presence
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
