**** What you will be doing:
** The Business Process Excellence team at Vertex is focused on improving how HR delivers services to employees, managers and candidates through process redesign, technology enablement and continuous improvement. This team partners closely with stakeholders across HR and the broader enterprise to move HR services from design into day-to-day operation and to measure the value they deliver to the business.  he Business Process Excellence, HR Transformation Co-op will support the launch and continuous improvement of redesigned HR services.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR transformation, operational excellence, value realization and the use of AI tools in everyday work.  The Co-op will support the continuous improvement of Vertex's redesigned HR services. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
* ** Performance Tracking & Reporting**   + Learn the pre-launch baseline and business case goals, including turnaround times, hours saved and cost savings.  + Gather and analyze process data and stakeholder feedback to track results against goals.  + Prepare weekly progress reports for the team and HR leaders.
* ** Continuous Improvement**   + Maintain a prioritized backlog of process issues, improvement ideas and agreed actions, each with an owner and due date.  + Follow up on open actions through completion and flag items that are stuck.  + Lead working sessions with stakeholders to resolve…
