Rocket Alumni Solutions builds interactive recognition software used by schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. We’ve rapidly scaled to $2.4M ARR and aim for $5M in 2025. Our team is searching for a highly capable Process Optimization Specialist who can leverage technology to streamline our workflows and help us operate at maximum efficiency.
Role OverviewAs our Process Optimization Specialist, you’ll collaborate with every department—Product, Design, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales—to automate manual tasks, eliminate process bottlenecks, and ensure data flows seamlessly between systems. You’ll be our go-to person for implementing automation tools, creating custom integrations, and building internal scripts that enable the team to work faster and smarter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Automation & Integration: Identify repetitive tasks and integrate tools like Zapier, Integromat, or custom APIs to automate workflows across CRMs, project management platforms, and data repositories.
- Database Management: Understand basic database principles (SQL or No
SQL) to query, clean, and maintain data integrity across the company’s tech stack (e.g., CRM, analytics platform, etc.). - Workflow Analysis: Conduct deep dives into departmental processes, highlighting inefficiencies and suggesting improvements that save time and resources.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and team leads to align process changes with strategic goals.
- Continuous Monitoring: Track the impact of automated workflows, measure time savings, and iterate on improvements using data-driven insights.
- 3+ years experience in operations, process improvement, or related roles
- Proven track record automating workflows using Zapier, Integromat, or similar platforms
- Basic knowledge of databases and queries (SQL or No
SQL) - Detail-oriented, capable of mapping complex processes with clarity
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying automation opportunities
