About You
As a Cybersecurity Specialist – Data Protection, you are highly detail‑oriented and analytical, with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and data governance, enabling you to anticipate risks and implement effective security measures that protect sensitive data. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and adapt quickly to evolving technologies and compliance requirements. Your proactive mindset, commitment to continuous learning, and focus on integrity allow you to strengthen cybersecurity practices that support operational excellence and public trust.
What You Will Do
- Secure and classify Massport’s data across cloud and on‑premises environments, maintain accurate inventories, and implement safeguards such as encryption and access controls.
- Strengthen mobile endpoint security through compliance enforcement, policy configuration, and device monitoring to ensure secure access to enterprise resources.
- Administer and maintain security systems, troubleshoot issues, and support installation of cybersecurity hardware to uphold system integrity.
- Collaborate across teams to improve security practices, research emerging technologies, and provide guidance on implementing new systems and cybersecurity best practices.
What You Offer
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity certifications, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience with cybersecurity systems or enterprise systems administration.
- Strong understanding of security principles, data protection methodologies, and regulatory compliance; skilled in troubleshooting and secure configuration of enterprise hardware and operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, cloud environments (Azure/AWS), DLP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Purview), and security monitoring tools such as SIEM, EDR, or XDR.
