Position: *Digital Content Lead* Seeking Local Boston, MA Candidates

Position: Digital Content Lead Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Seeking an experienced Digital Content Lead to support a centralized Digital Services team focused on accessible, consistent, and user-centered web content. This role acts as the main point of contact for public website and intranet content, collaborating with cross-functional partners to improve digital communication, governance, and content quality. This is not a developer role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and maintain digital content across internal and external platforms.
  • Ensure content quality, consistency, and adherence to accessibility (WCAG) standards.
  • Monitor analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage CMS workflows, training, and content requests from stakeholders.
  • Maintain content guidelines, style standards, and governance processes.
  • Oversee intranet reviews, public website updates, and light team supervision.
  • Support social media, newsletters, and digital publishing tools.
Qualifications
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with WCAG, content strategy, and CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of UI/UX and user-focused content design.
  • Proven problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Leadership experience and a customer-service mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field + 5 years of digital content experience.
