We are hiring an accomplished Sr Storage Specialist to support our Worldwide sales teams covering Amazon File storage service. As AWS continues to grow its presence globally, the Go‑To‑Market Specialist will assist our internal teams by creating and orchestrating “at scale” programs, initiatives, research, and enablement for our worldwide sales and cross‑functional customer teams.
A proven track record of developing and executing go‑to‑market (GTM) / sales programs and initiatives at scale with tangible results is critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Setting strategic program direction, as well as overseeing tactical execution of insight‑based programs and go‑to‑market activities to expand AWS market share in key pursuit accounts, segments and verticals within the private sector.
- Using business savvy to drive revenue, develop sales programs and identify new markets and opportunities; working directly with demanding customers to understand their requirements and translate them into reality.
- Partnering with AWS corporate platform services and industry teams to identify workloads that impact our storage services.
- Mapping the application of technology to customer business scenarios to help customers improve operational outcomes through AWS storage services.
- Building sales enablement tools, evangelizing our platform with enterprise and mid‑market customers, and serving as the primary Executive Briefing Center representative of the storage business.
- Acting as a trusted business advisor, deep diving into data, creating high‑impact programs, and tracking progress while tuning for desired results.
- Leading cross‑functional teams to drive AWS adoption in key workloads that use the AWS Storage portfolio.
- Defining, driving, measuring, managing and coaching on workload‑focused goals across the business.
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in Go‑To‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- 5+ years of storage domain expertise, preferably in cloud‑native deployments (containers, serverless, compute).
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company;
