Head of Product at Goodpath | We’re Hiring! (Boston/Remote)

Senior Product Manager / Technical Product Manager

Reports to:

Head of Product

About Goodpath

Goodpath is a virtual integrative care platform helping employers deliver personalized health support to their members. We combine a React Native mobile app, web-based enrollment experiences, and a clinician-facing platform to deliver evidence-based care. We are a high-velocity team operating at the intersection of clinical rigor and modern software development, committed to improving health outcomes through technology.

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager / Technical Product Manager to own a core product domain end-to-end and partner closely with engineering, QA, clinical, and operations to ship high-quality experiences. This is a hybrid PM role: strong product judgment and stakeholder leadership, paired with technical fluency and the ability to turn complex workflows into clear, testable requirements.

You will lead strategy and execution for your domain, improve clarity and speed through better documentation and specifications, and use modern AI tools where helpful to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and delivery. You will not be expected to write production code, but you should be comfortable working in a technical environment and collaborating deeply with engineers. This role will also own key member experience outcomes for your domain, including engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

• Own a product domain end-to-end (for example Member Experience or Care Delivery tools), including vision, roadmap, prioritization, and outcomes.

• Translate clinical and business strategy into clear system behavior, requirements, and user flows across mobile, web, and internal tooling.

• Drive member engagement and retention:
Partner with design, clinical, engineering, and QA to improve activation and ongoing engagement in the app and services, using clear metrics and iterative experimentation.

• Use data and customer insight to size opportunities, define success metrics, run A/B tests, and iterate based on results.

• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (clinical, operations, customer success, and leadership) to align scope, timelines, and tradeoffs.

• Improve how we work (process + tooling + AI):
Contribute lightweight templates and documentation practices, and use pragmatic AI tooling to accelerate product discovery, specification quality, and delivery cadence as team workflows evolve.

• Drive AI-enabled product innovation:
Stay hands-on with modern AI capabilities, build working prototypes to validate ideas quickly, and proactively identify and shape opportunities to apply AI in Goodpath’s product (new features, smarter clinical and operational workflows, automation) in partnership with engineering and clinical teams.

You might be a good fit if you

• Have 5-10 years of product management experience, including owning meaningful product surfaces from discovery through launch and iteration.

• Are a strong writer who can turn complex domains into crisp, testable requirements and decision-ready summaries.

• Have technical fluency: you can read and reason about code, APIs, and data models; you’re comfortable with tools like Git and collaborating via pull requests.

• Think in systems and edge cases, especially in workflows with rules, routing, eligibility, or operational constraints.

• Have experience improving engagement/retention in a member-facing product using metrics and continuous iteration.

• Are outcome-oriented: you balance member value, clinical safety, operational impact, and engineering constraints to ship the right thing.

• Thrive in ambiguity and can create clarity quickly without over-processing.

Nice to have

• Experience collaborating with Engineering teams working in modern mobile and web development (enough to follow implementation patterns and tradeoffs).

• Experience in digital health, virtual care, or other regulated environments (HIPAA awareness, clinical nuance, safety mindset).

• Experience working on multi-surface products where mobile, web, and internal tools must stay aligned.

Why this role

This role has real ownership and real impact: you will help shape a core Goodpath product area and collaborate directly with a strong engineering and clinical team to improve how care is delivered. You’ll join at a moment where we are scaling, modernizing our workflows, and investing in building faster and clearer while maintaining clinical quality and member trust.
