We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our team. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for SRE teams and initiatives, helping Xometry build cost-effective, secure, fast, and reliable systems for our global marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Define standards, metrics, and practices with engineering, product, and program management leaders to improve operational rigor, efficiency, and engineering velocity.

• Establish automated and self-service strategies to enhance operational efficiency and developer self-sufficiency.

• Champion and measure observability, monitoring, and metrics practices.

• Oversee development, configuration, and maintenance of foundational platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, and related systems.

• Manage observability and monitoring tools development and maintenance.

• Supervise development and management of CI/CD tools like Git Hub Actions Runners and ArgoCD.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software development and site reliability in fast-paced, product-driven environments, with a degree or equivalent experience.

• Ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term system architecture goals.

• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing SRE teams.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation and observability in distributed systems.

• Experience defining and operationalizing SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.

• Effective communication skills across all levels, from junior ICs to executives.

• Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
