A large, complex organization is seeking a senior privacy attorney to serve as the lead legal advisor for data usage, cybersecurity, and privacy matters tied to commercial and technology contracts.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead legal review and negotiation of privacy, data, and cybersecurity provisions in commercial and technology agreements
• Advise on data usage, data feeds, analytics, and information lifecycle governance
• Partner with internal stakeholders on privacy, cybersecurity, and vendor risk initiatives
• Develop and maintain contract templates and standards related to data and privacy
• Provide pragmatic legal guidance balancing regulatory requirements and business needs
Ideal Profile
• J.D. with active bar admission
• 6+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, or technology transactions
• Experience in financial services, technology, or software environments preferred
• Strong drafting, workflow management, and stakeholder communication skills
