Harbour Vest is an equal opportunity employer. This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office. Harbour Vest Partners is seeking a Senior System Analyst – Workday to join our exceptional IT team based in Boston.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with IT, HR team members, and external partners to plan, implement, and support Workday Core HCM modules (Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Performance Management, & Learning).
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Workday configuration, integrations, and technical solutions.
- Analyze, communicate, and support technical dependencies and needs to enable Workday feature delivery and releases.
- Provide cross‑functional technical support for IT & HR for Workday, including bi‑annual Workday upgrades.
- Support and implement business continuity, disaster recovery, security, and audit needs for the HR business function.
- Document system designs, integrations, workflows, and maintain related documentation to support the Workday platform.
- Contribute to Workday product roadmap development and delivery to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate optimally with diverse roles and teams, both in person and remotely, to achieve collective goals.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
- Experience related to implementation and management of enterprise HR applications using the Workday platform;
Workday Financials knowledge and experience would be an added benefit. - Proven capabilities and experience in three or more of the following areas:
Applications Development, Business Process and Workflow Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Systems Support. - Experience with Agile software development, traditional project management, and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to collaborate successfully and creatively across functions to understand business priorities and provide technology solutions to meet the needs.
- Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow‑up and resolution.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience translating business and technical concepts or decisions with diverse audiences.
- Attention to detail and quality to fulfill responsibilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, process/workflow, and collaboration tools.
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), or equivalent experience.
- 3‑10 years of preferred experience.
- Support IT Technical Lead with Integrations (API’s, EIB’s, & Workday Studio Support) is preferred.
$94,000.00 – $ (USD base salary range). This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, with additional compensation potentially including long‑term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package (retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs). Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
