Join Flatiron Health as a Machine Learning Engineer and contribute to improving cancer care through data-driven insights. You'll develop and validate ML models to extract clinical information from unstructured medical notes, working with a cross-functional team across the US, Europe, and Japan. Your responsibilities include understanding stakeholder needs, building models using LLMs, traditional ML, and NLP techniques, validating models with scientists and oncologists, and collaborating with engineers to product ionize and scale your work.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a technical role with a focus on ML.

• Strong background in applying ML to real-world problems.

• Experience with NLP and LLMs preferred.

• Experience working in a startup environment.

• Experience with Python and SQL.

Nice-to-have:

• ML experience in healthcare.

• Experience with bias in machine learning and health equity.
