We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on enhancing the integrity of our platform. You will play a vital role in upholding the core values of Trustpilot by building and maintaining user Trust. This role involves using the latest technologies to deliver value to our users, developing software engineers, and ensuring team effectiveness. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Data Science, and Data Analytics teams.

• Manage a medium-sized team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Define, track, and drive key success metrics for team performance, system reliability, and fraud detection effectiveness.
• Manage the delivery of major initiatives and balance delivery with sustainable engineering practices.
• Work closely with Product, Data Science & Analytics, and other stakeholders.
• Define and prioritise deliverables for new products/enhanced functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop and retain skilled team members.
• Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of initiatives, communicating issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders.
• Ensure teams have high technical proficiency and aim for quality.
• Develop and support a great team of skilled and motivated engineers, setting clear expectations via constant feedback and 1:1s practices.
• Facilitate the advancement of team members through developmental opportunities and targeted skill enhancement.
• Build a positive and consistent work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust.

• Experienced Engineering Manager in a Product/Customer-driven environment.
• Experience managing a small-medium sized team with a full-stack software engineering background.
• Extensive background in high-volume, scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and scalable infrastructure best practices.
• Experience developing and deploying Full-stack services (React, CSS, Type Script, Node.js, Database management, API integrations).
• Ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions and align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Extensive stakeholder management experience.
• Solid background in API technologies and Agile Methodology.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and growing your team.
• An aspiration to contribute to the future and make crucial technical decisions.
• Explore cloud and SaaS platforms.

• Experience with AWS (CDK, ECS, Lambda, SNS, SQS), Docker, Cloud Formation
• Familiarity with Typescript, Node.js, C#
• Experience with React, Next.js, CSS Modules, SASS, Styled Components
• Database experience with Dynamo
