We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with a deep passion for crafting remarkable user experiences and solving complex systems challenges across platform experiences (Menus, Reporting, Multi-location) at Toast.
In this role, you will:
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and research to deeply understand our users and translate that understanding into thoughtful, intuitive product experiences.
- Design end-to-end workflows across responsive web and native mobile, delivering clear wireframes, flows, prototypes, and design specs that guide product development.
- Design scalable reporting and data experiences that reduced complexity and improved how operators monitor, manage, and configure their business.
- Contribute to the evolution of AI-driven tools that help operators make better, faster decisions.
- Participate in design critiques and reviews, giving and receiving feedback that strengthens the quality of the work.
- Support qualitative and quantitative research activities, translating insights into actionable product improvements.
- Collaborate with localization and international teams to ensure designs are culturally appropriate and adaptable across different languages and regions.
- Advocate for customer-centered design, elevating user needs and helping maintain a high bar of craft across the team.
- Design exceptional AI-first experiences that solve meaningful customer problems - using AI tools to accelerate ideation, streamline design workflows, and contribute to a culture of innovation and learning across the team.
- Experience designing holistic, end-to-end product experiences—comfortable shifting from broad journeys to detailed interactions.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, proactively seeking clarity and adapting as responsibilities evolve.
- Fluency in user-centered design methods and enough research literacy to ground design decisions in insights and data.
- Robust interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to build trust and influence partners across disciplines.
- Enduring sense of curiosity with a desire to continuously learn and evolve.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and other prototyping or design collaboration tools.
- Passion for creating intuitive, delightful experiences that feel native across platforms and regions.
- Your collaborative style inspires others to the point where people ask to work with you and your expertise and confidence have others seeking out your informed perspective.
