Five Rivers Analytics is looking for a Network Cabling Technician to work in Boston, MA. The Network Cabling Technician will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a variety of wired systems across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge to include a variety of Networking technologies, including Fiber Optic Cable Testing, Copper Wire replacement, VoIP and legacy phone systems.
Responsibilities
* Designs and installs well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling.
* Performs troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network.
* Inspects LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs.
* Evaluates network performance and find ways of improvement for wired cable infrastructure.
* Organizes and schedules upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work. Qualifications
* Active Secret Level Clearance.
* Experience working with LAN cable replacement and troubleshooting.
* COMPTIA Security+CE (IAT-Level II) certification or COMPTIA NET+ Certification.
* Great attitude and strong communication skills.
