About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise network infrastructure. This role will focus on Cisco-based networking, hybrid cloud connectivity, network security, and performance improvement across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
- Based in Boston, MA (Hybrid, 2 days per week in Office)
- Compensation: $150k-$180k base salary + 20%-25% bonus
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
- Optimize network performance, reliability, and security.
- Deploy and maintain routing, switching, firewall, and load-balancing solutions.
- Develop network architecture, documentation, and operational standards.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new networking and security technologies.
- Manage network device patching and lifecycle maintenance.
- Support hybrid cloud networking across on-premises and AWS environments.
- 5-10+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- Strong expertise with Cisco routing, switching, Nexus, and Cisco ISE.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and F5 LTM/GTM load balancers.
- Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures, TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, ACLs, and modern routing protocols.
- Experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud networks, including AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Network Manager, Cloud Watch, and cloud integrations.
- Proven network architecture and design experience, including documentation and roadmap planning.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, Git, CI/CD).
- Exposure to AWS and Azure cloud networking environments.
