About Player Data

Player Data is a fast-growing sports-tech company building GPS wearables, connected sports equipment, and performance-tracking software used by athletes and teams around the world — backed by a recent $12M Series A from investors including Pentland, Bolt, Tennis Australia, and Kevin Durant's 35V. From lightweight GPS trackers used by over 1,500+ teams to the world's first GPS-enabled connected ball, Player Data is redefining how athletes train, recover, and compete.

With its US headquarters now in Boston, the company is scaling fast — which means junior team members don't just observe the action, they're part of it. This is your chance to get in early with a company shaping the future of sports performance technology, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the team getting cutting-edge products into the hands of athletes nationwide.

Role Overview

Join Player Data and get hands on with our products by working in our Boston Shipping Hub, keeping orders moving smoothly from sale to delivery. You’ll split your time between some administrative work that connects Sales and Shipping, and (plenty) hands on preparation and shipping of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate order information between the Sales and fulfilment teams.
  • Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders.
  • Support general inventory and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Get involved in testing and quality control of all our new and existing products.
Requirements
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with both admin work and physical, hands-on tasks.
  • Able to work on-site in our Boston office.
  • Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Excited to gain some experience in a fast-paced sports-tech environment.
Why This Role

This role offers something hard to find elsewhere: real, hands-on exposure to how a fast-growing sports-tech company actually runs. You won't be fetching coffee — you'll be directly involved in the order pipeline that gets Player Data's products into the hands of athletes and teams across the country. You'll work closely with our Operations & Logistics Associate as well as our Testing Manager, gaining practical, resume-ready experience across sales coordination, inventory, and logistics — plus a front-row seat to what it's like to scale a startup from the ground up, alongside a collaborative, energetic team.
