Strategy & Vision:
- Lead and oversee the development and delivery of data products using product management principles and an agile framework.
- Drive the Data Product Management team's strategy and vision, aligning the data product roadmap with enterprise goals and staying current with market trends and customer needs.
- Define and execute the product strategy for advanced data capabilities, including AI-driven data products and AI data agents as a product.
- Evangelize the value of data products to drive adoption and a data-driven culture across the business and user communities.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Product Owners, including those focused on user support and communications.
- Manage and mentor junior data product owners to adopt agile processes for building and delivering high-quality data products.
- Serve as the owner and escalation point for the data product management team, resolving blockers and addressing issues promptly.
- Drive product vision, identification of business value, product road-mapping, and delivery of data products for all applications and platforms.
- Establish and enforce a prioritization framework for data and it's AI initiatives based on business value, feasibility, reusability, and compliance risk.
- Define clear entry/exit criteria for data products, ensuring they have recurring business value, designated ownership, and meet enterprise-ready standards for quality, lineage, and documentation.
- Manage the team backlog, define epics and user stories, and ensure visibility to business partners and leadership.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive work experience in data management, product management, or a related field, with a focus on data, digital, or API products.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading and mentoring teams of product managers, product owners, or analysts.
- Experience in executive translation & business acumen in proving ability to synthesize complex operational concepts into high-impact business insights, collaborating directly with senior leadership to drive strategic alignment and decision-making.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and managing products through all phases of the lifecycle, from ideation to decommissioning.
- Expertise in agile delivery frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management principles.
- Strong experience working with SQL or No
SQL databases and understanding of modern data architecture (e.g., data lake, data warehouse, microservices). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
- Exposure to AI concepts is highly desirable
- Healthcare domain knowledge is a significant plus.
