Role

Purpose:

Wasabi is looking for a Hardware Operations Engineer to help support and maintain our growing global server fleet of nearly 9,000 servers. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our 24x7x365 production environment running smoothly. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware issues (servers, storage, networking, cabling, power) in a live production data center.
• Write scripts (Python) to automate repetitive fixes, run diagnostics at scale, and speed up ticket resolution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Dev Ops, supply chain, vendors) to keep spares stocked and hardware operations running smoothly.
• Help build dashboards and reporting tools to track hardware health and team workflow.
• Be available for on-call/off-hours support and travel to data center sites.
