Database Platform Engineer
Type:Contract
Location:Boston/Quincy, MA Onsite
Experience:3+ years
Support enterprise Oracle and Sybase database environments by developing SQL queries, automation scripts, and operational tools to improve database administration and reporting efficiency.
Build Python-based automation for account inventory, permissions, compliance validation, migration readiness, and database operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Write, execute, and troubleshoot SQL queries across Oracle and Sybase databases, including account, entitlement, permission, and configuration data.
- Develop Python and scripting-based automation to connect to multiple databases, automate reporting, inventory, compliance validation, and account management tasks.
- Support database operations, migration and audit initiatives while troubleshooting connectivity issues and collaborating with DBA, infrastructure, and application teams.
