** The Vertex Supply Chain Master Data Management Co-Op is a 6-month experiential training program for students currently working towards an advanced degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Operations Management or other related fields. **** What you will be doing:
** The Supply Chain Master Data Management Co-op will support initiatives to improve the governance, quality, documentation, and usability of master data and planning parameters for products managed by Commercial Supply Chain Planning. The Co-op will work across Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Digital Technology & Engineering (DTE), Technical Operations, and other subject-matter experts (SMEs) to help define and document data-related processes, establish supporting documentation, measure key metrics, and gather stakeholder feedback.  

The Co-op will contribute to the development of master data governance practices, process documentation, training materials, workshop content, and documentation repositories.

* Key Responsibilities:

** Master Data Governance and Process Development
* Support the definition and documentation of master data governance, including data ownership, stewardship responsibilities, decision rights, process controls, and escalation pathways.
* Assist with drafting and maintaining master data management processes, workflows, and supporting reference materials.
* Support the collection, analysis, and presentation of metric results, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
* Support the review, validation, and maintenance of master data and planning parameters in systems such as OPM and Kinaxis Rapid Response.
