Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business and system analysis efforts for complex, high-visibility technology initiatives. This role will work closely with program managers, business leaders, project teams, and technical stakeholders to document detailed business requirements, perform gap analyses, and translate requirements into user stories and actionable tasks.

The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, guiding projects through the software development lifecycle. This individual will collaborate with project managers, technical leads, architects, designers, and quality assurance teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and are delivered successfully.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, creating technical and functional documentation, and supporting software development and testing activities in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

• Experience documenting requirements using tools such as Jira, Visio, Excel, and similar platforms.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to research, analyze, and document business processes and requirements.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Visio, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite to support business analysis activities.
• Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes using UML and other modeling methodologies.
• Work with solution architects and technical teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Lead and document requirements elicitation workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Create and maintain business requirements documentation using Agile methodologies.
• Develop user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and detailed system requirements.
• Partner with UI/UX teams to define user interface requirements and user experiences.
• Contribute to business analysis standards, governance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support software quality assurance activities throughout development, testing, and production releases.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute and support testing activities across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Document test results and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Analyze defects and collaborate with development teams to identify resolutions.
• Gather reporting and dashboard requirements and perform related business analysis activities.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure successful delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and technical support teams as needed.
• Develop training materials and support end-user training and adoption efforts.
• Perform additional duties related to software delivery and business analysis as required.

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting technology projects.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and requirements documentation.
• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
