Principal Software Configuration Engineer; Principal SCE

Techlogix is seeking a full-time Principal SCE to help develop & test Coding Infrastructure on various platforms; maintain test automation; create and manage cloud-based software and launch new industry-changing products. In this role, you will be on point to develop, design, implement and manage cloud-based software, and support of network infrastructure and platform technologies.

• Develop, maintain, modify, and test Coding Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Power Shell, Hashi Corp Terraform, ARM Template, Azure Dev Ops, and Pipelines
• Create and manage cloud-based software on various cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, including design, automation, and deployment of infrastructure
• Maintain test automation on multiple types of application platforms such as web, mobile and desktop
• Analyze, assess, identify, fix, test, and debug code of user requirements
• Develop and maintain a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures
• Design, develop and build the relevant operating procedures and processes to Operationalize to Ops Team
• Architect, implement and maintain highly available mission critical environment for 24/7 availability
• Debug complicated issues by using application log, event viewer, log-analytics
• Work closely with operation team to update their on-premises practices and architectures
• Work with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the architected designs
• Write and maintain clear, concise documentation, runbooks and operational standards including infrastructure diagrams
• Provide best practices for building secure and reliable applications on all IT platforms
• Automate Build process for C1.CD using Dev Ops methodology with combination of tools such as Jenkins, Sonar Qube, NDepend, Git/Bitbucket, Slack and JIRA in Microsoft Azure Web Application Platform
• Manage Azure Cloud with Resource provisioning, monitoring, Performance and Cost optimization, Scaling UP/Down as per Peak & Off-Peak Hours
• Develop software for Azure Traffic Manager for routing traffic for Load Balancing, low latency, geographic location, and traffic to priority endpoints
• Work on laaS through Windows Power Shell & AM Templates
• Lead & deliver the infrastructure capability transformation for production and pre-production environment by using Industry Standards such as CMMI, ISO, HIPAA, PCI, with focus in user-experience, resilience, performance, availability, and cost management
• Provide performance anomalies to relevant stake holders through Azure Application Insights & Database query performance
• Provide data and root cause analysis for each service impacting incident with all possible corrective actions for improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, programming, technical or closely related field
• 3-plus years of software configuration design, software development or closely related technical software development field
• Working experience with management of cloud infrastructure support or related experience
• Knowledge of computer programming and coding
• Ability to work within a team environment
