Technical Lead Third Party Data Integration

Insight Global is sourcing for a Sr. Technical Lead to join a global consulting firm within the Knowledge and Research Systems portfolio. This role will support third party subscription services and data integrations, including cost, contract terms, licensing constraints, and permitted data usage. You will then turn that understanding into guiding principles and working integrations, and make sure our proprietary internal applications are clearly differentiated from the raw subscription data they draw on.

This is a senior level role requiring technical and conceptual experience, creating guiding principles for how third-party data is integrated into our evolving architecture with Glean, agents, Databricks, Claude and chatGPT. Hands on experience is required, prototyping, reviewing data models and code, and validating that integrations behave as contracts allow. This is a 6-month contract to hire position, hybrid out of the Boston or Chicago markets.

Compensation: $_70 /hr. to $90/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

• 10+ or more years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or technical product leadership, with significant hands‑on delivery
• Hands‑on experience with a modern data platform such as Databricks, plus strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience integrating data into enterprise search, AI assistants, or agent‑based solutions; familiarity with Glean or comparable platforms is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of data licensing, subscription models, and usage rights, with the ability to turn contract terms into technical guardrails
• Track record of setting architecture principles or standards that multiple teams adopt
• Experience working with third‑party data providers or information services, ideally in a professional services or research environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical or related field
