Winged Keel Group is an independent life insurance brokerage firm that creates and implements tax-efficient, multi-generational wealth accumulation and wealth transfer strategies for ultra-high net worth families.
The Client Services department focuses on delivering best-in-class service to ultra-high net worth clients, offering customized reporting, premium invoicing, task management, and life insurance portfolio reviews.
The successful candidate will enjoy helping people, be a self-starter, and be accountable for following established processes to deliver timely and accurate information. This role requires someone who can critically review information, is comfortable questioning unexpected results, and has patience and discipline to manage details.
Position Responsibilities:
- Obtain policy values, forms, and information from insurance carriers.
- Use insurance company software to run inforce policy illustrations and identify results that don’t make sense.
- Prepare premium invoices and policy summaries.
- Prepare paperwork for and process death claims, surrenders, and withdrawals.
- Update and maintain client information and document all client transactions.
- Understand and adhere to compliance procedures when working with variable life insurance.
- Prepare complex insurance portfolio reviews using Excel.
- Review work of teammates, identify errors, and recommend enhancements.
- Assist clients and advisors with questions about insurance portfolios.
- Understand income tax attributes of life insurance and strategies used to fund life insurance in a tax-efficient manner.
- Prepare split dollar reporting and proactively communicate with internal Client Relationship Managers.
Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following:
- 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably including customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships within the firm and with outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills and willingness to accept constructive feedback.
