They are seeking a Casualty Underwriter to join their growing specialty division. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that values strong broker relationships, technical underwriting expertise, and strategic growth in the middle and upper-middle market.
About the Role:As a Casualty Underwriter, you’ll manage the full underwriting cycle across GL, Auto, and some Workers’ Comp. You’ll build strong broker relationships, drive new business, and grow a profitable book in construction, transportation, and manufacturing.
The Ideal Candidate Has:- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Risk Management, Business, or related field)
- 5–10 years of commercial casualty underwriting experience (GL and Auto strongly preferred)
- Experience with middle-market accounts and multi-line rating
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or transportation underwriting a plus
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and underwriting systems
- Relationship-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable in a production environment
